Scientology... Satanists doing shrooms!

If you've been paying attention to the news (very, very, very closely, beyond the bigger events) you likely heard of a group called Anonymous who is fighting tooth and nail against the Church of Scientology (Father we thank you for sending Anonymous to war against these false prophets.)

For those that have been living in a cave for the last fifty years, Scientology was started in the 1950s by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. He believed that Xenu, of the Galactic Confederacy, brought billions of people to earth 75 million years ago, stacked them around volcanos, and blew them up with hydrogen bombs. Their life essences stuck to the bodies of the living, causing spiritual harm.

Scientologists hate Christianity. It's a proven fact, dribbling out of the mouth of Steven Fishman, a blasphemer and enemy of god:

For instance, the historic jesus was not nearly the sainted figure has been made out to be. In John 2:16, in the middle of throwing the moneychangers out of the temple, it says "To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!"

Other "Outbursts" that our enemy was refering to might include... Killing a Fig Tree in Matthew 21:19... that's about it...

He also mentioned a message of hate... ummm... let's see... so far I can think of three that he might be refering to... but I always say "Honesty and Niceness have no buisiness together."

You are of your father the devil, and the desire of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. -John 8:44

What he's pointing out is our horrid nature to cheat, steal, and destroy. Even I feel those things. But he's not willing to turn us away. I can't find the passage, but it says "Whoever comes to me, I will by no means turn him away." So that's one "message of hate." Next?

As it is now, the world is a disgrace. Ever since Adam and Eve, it's just been going down. Further and further into the cesspool it is now. God wants to start over (so does Jesus.) Because of the moral rot, the earth will one day be too sick to survive, and will have to be destroyed. Don't forget about the second coming, though, when he'll take the believers away and leave humanity's trash behind.

From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. --Luke 12:52

Jesus needed to tell the truth, and if that means something like that happening, so be it. The same thing happens in my family too. I try to tell the truth, but my dad thinks *I'm* the blasphemer in the house. Some will accept the truth, some won't. So be it.

There are numerous times when Jesus "lashed out" at the Pharisees. Now, the reason for this was because the Pharisees only cared about themselves. They were rich, they were prideful, and this made Jesus sick to his stomach. In short, he described them as being like polished tombs. I can't remember the number of the passage, or the exact words, so I'm just gonna fly by the seat of my pants here... I assume it's somewhere in the first three books of the New Testament.

You are as tombs. Your outsides are polished stone, but inside you are filled with the bones of dead men!

In other words, the Pharisees were hypocrites. Acting all good and what not, but not lifing a finger to help anybody. Anyway, onto the next...

The accusation of being a ped comes from the "young man in a linen cloth that escaped when Jesus was arrested." First of all, Jesus was alone, and his disciples were in one group that was just out of earshot.

Now... that I've whipped our enemy of god... let's look at the innards of Scientology. Here's a list of people that died thanks to the church of Scientology...

• Lisa McPherson, who died of a Pulmonary Embolism on the way Scientologist's Hospital which was 24 miles away (a 40 minute drive) from her apartment/hotel room. (covered in Cockroach Bites.) At the time of her death, she only had $151 in her bank account.
  
• Noah Lottick: Commited Suicide by jumping from a 10th-floor window after the Church of Scientology took his life savings. He was seen clutching the last bit of money he had.
• Josephus A. Havenith, went to the Fort Harrison Hotel which was owned by the Church of Scientology. He was found dead in the bathtub. The water was so boiling hot that it burned his skin off.
• At that same hotel, Margarit Winklemann walked fully clothed into Clearwater Bay and drowned herself after Scientologists took her off her medication.
• Peter Frei was found floating in a waterway, the Church reported him missing several days later.
• Heribert Pfaff died of a seizure after the Church of Scientology took him off his seizure medication.
• Roger Nind was an Ex-Scientologist who tried to get a $70,000 refund, was killed in a car accident the next day.
• Jeremey Perkins, who was born into a scientologist family, was a scitzophrenic his whole life. At the age of 27, the Church of Scientology stopped treating him. His mother, due to their blasphemous beliefs, keeps him from getting Psychriatric Assistance. On March 13, 2003, on L. Ron Hubbard's birthday, he kills his mother by stabbing him 77 times.
• Harriet Barker, who's husband died, was harassed by Scientologists until she was so poor she had to sell her house.

Let's look at the other things that this cult has tried to do...

• Operation "Freakout" in 1976. A conspiracy against Paulette Cooper, author of the Scandal of Scientology, to have her jailed, commited to a mental institution, or to stop her attacks against the cult. They wanted to make it look like she was making bomb threats.
• Operation "Snow White" in 1978. L. Ron Hubbard orders a group to infiltrate the U.S Government to find Personal Information on the cult's critics, remove incriminating evidence against it from the records, and gain tax exemption. Eleven of these Scientologists were tried, convicted, and sent to prison. For years they had been stealing documents and tapping phones.

The policies of the Church of Scientology regarding people who speak out against it are as follows...

Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed. -Penalties for Lower Conditions

That is all that needs to be said, really. So yes, as you can see, Scientology is a parasitic, Satanic religion that takes sweet lady science fiction and turns her into the Whore of Babylon. If you are a member of this unholy church, Jesus can save you. Call on him, say "Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner, and I trust you instead of some Hollywood Dimwit. I invite you into my heart, into my mind, into my soul, and into my body." If you prayed that simple prayer, you were born again. Go tell the Church of Scientology you're done with them, and you do not fear death.

Israel: Love it or... well, then just leave it alone...

In 1948, Israel was founded as a nation that could give the jews a fighting chance in the event of another Adolph Hitler. These days it looks like there's another one on the rise already... I speak of Iranian President Ahmedinejad, the true enemy of the Jewish People. What makes this guy stand out from the likes of the Neo Nazis in America? I'll tell you...

• Ahmedinejad actually has an army to make a move.
• He's got the bomb.
• He has an entire nation that is coerced into his way of thinking.

Scared? Jubilent? Don't be...

God has delivered Israel, time and time again, from it's enemies at home and abroad. All over the old testament, you read about the Israelites taking down nation after nation. Yet people are still against Israel today, clearly they'll never learn.

Why is all of this happening? It all dates back to Abraham. In Genesis 12:2,3 God makes a pact with Israel saying "I will make you a great nation, I will bless you, and make your name, I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." In the other books of the old testament, every kingdom that holds Jerusalem, aside from Israel, eventually falls into ruin.

• Babylon (completely obliterated)
• Persia (Now Iran)
• Assyria (Gone)
• Greeks (Thrown out)

Enemies of Israel today teeter on the brink of collapse today. While it looks like she's in trouble today, it's always darkest before the dawn. For those considering Abortion...

If you are considering abortion, as a man I beg you to reconsider. Inside you is a human life, something you cannot put a price on.

"But Matt! It's going to hurt! You're a man, you would never understand!"
True, but I remember a femenist in an episode of Family Guy once said "If we can endure the pain of child birth, who knows what else we can accomplish?" This would be a huge milestone for you! When someone asks what you did with your life, you can say "I suffered so another human being can live."

"Why should I care about some fetus?"
Well, if you don't care about the fetus, consider this...

• 16 of 17 scientific studies show that abortions increase risks of breast cancer.

• The Southern Medical journal says there is a higher death rate among women who have abortions (and not from violence, either.)

• Back in 2007, the Metropolitan Medical Associates of New Jersey was shut down by state health officials after one of it's patients, who had an abortion, went into a coma for four weeks. She had to have her uterus removed and her lungs were collapsing.

You're playing russian roulette with only one empty chamber by considering abortion.

"I was raped! I don't want this!"
I'm sorry to hear that, but why should that kid die for something a pervert did? The rapist will get theirs, and much more. If you give birth to this thing, you can put it up for adoption and give it to somebody who *does* want it. There are a lot of couples out there that want a family so desperately but they can't have their own children. Try going to GodParent. That could help.

"What if it's another criminal?"
What if it is? One more criminal isn't going to hurt the world. There's an equally good chance it won't become a criminal. Whatever it becomes, it is meant to be.

"Who will love it? Who will care for it?"
Lots of people. Like I said earlier, lots of couples want their own kids but can't concieve for whatever reason.

"The stem cells can can cure diseases!"
At what cost? There has to be another way. The world is full of infinite mysteries. That human life in you has no chance, no means to defend itself, it's not fair.

Also, I am reminded of Ecclesiastes 3:2 which says...

"There is a time to be born and a time to die."

It is the fetus' time to be born, and the diseased man's time to die? The diseased was already born, so now it's time for him to accept Christ and move on to eternity, and the fetus' time to be born and with it, the chance to make it's mark on our lives.

"But it'll go to heaven if I abort it."
True... but YOU will go to hell for murder. That thing is a human life. To end it, even in it's current state, is murder.

"Oh, but I can repent and get off scott free."
So you think Jesus is a get out of jail free card? That you can just kill another human being and just walk away? You don't need a biblical scripture to tell you that you're full of it. I'd imagine God gets pretty angry when people try to use his free love gift as a loophole!

"It's my body, it's my choice! You are a stupid zealot!"
First off, thank you for calling me a Zealot/Fanatic/etc. I consider it an honor. Second, while it is true that it is your body, and your choice, you will be held accountable for your actions. (Acts 17:31)

Conclusion...
You have, at this time, the power to do one of two things... to give life, or to take it away. God is watching and waiting for your descision, and I pray that you will make the right one. That child has as much right to live as you do, and even though it can't speak, it is undoubtably begging you not to kill it.

Pornography, it's sinful nature.

Pornography is the strongest weapon the enemy's arsenal. It's tearing society to shreds and people don't even know it. It's attractive, and appeals to that insatiable hunger within us all. Sure, it seems a little harmless, but here is a few facts on pornography...


Pornography can start the cycle of Sexual Addiction, which goes as follows according to Patrick Carnes, a researcher in this sort of thing.

1. Recurrent failure to resist impulses to engage in specific sexual behavior
2. Frequent engaging in those behaviors to a greater extent or over a longer period of time.
3. Persistant desire or unsuccessful efforts to stop, reduce, or to control those behaviors.
4. Inordinate amount of time spent in obtaining sex, being sexual, or recovering from sexual experience.
5. Preoccupation with behavior or prepatory activities.
6. Frequent engaging in the behavior when expected to fulfill occupational, academic, domestic or social obligations.
7. Continuation of the behavior despite knowledge of having a persistent or recurrent social, financial, psychological, or physical problem that is caused or exacerbated by the behavior.
8. Need to increase the intensity, frequency, number, or risk of behaviors to achieve the desired effect, or diminished effect with continued behaviors at the same level of intensity, frequency, number, or risk.
9. Giving up or limiting social, occupational, or recreational activities because of the behavior.
10. Distress, anxiety, restlessness, or irritability if unable to engage in the behavior.

There are three other symptoms of sexual addiction, brought on by pornography.

• Compulsivity: This is the loss of the ability to choose freely whether to stop or continue a behavior
• Continuation despite consequences: When addicts take their addiction too far, it can cause negative effects in their lives. They may start withdrawing from family life to pursue sexual activity. This withdrawal may cause them to neglect their children or cause their partners to leave them. Addicts risk money, marriage, family and career in order to satisfy their sexual desires. Despite all of these consequences, they continue indulging in excessive sexual activity.
• Obsession: This is when people cannot help themselves from thinking a particular thought. Sex addicts spend whole days consumed by sexual thoughts. They develop elaborate fantasies, find new ways of obtaining sex and mentally revisit past experiences. Because their minds are so preoccupied by these thoughts, other areas of their lives that they should be thinking about are neglected.

Oh yes, Pornography is *really* harmless, isn't it? Not enough? Here's another thing: It *ruins* relationships. Why have your plain wife when you can watch supermodels go at it? Wake up call, boy-o, that supermodel is a tangled mess of silicone and duct-tape!

Coming from a religious perspective, pornography is outright forbidden because it is a form of adultery. There are three scriptures that I can name that mark pornography, of all types, as a sin.

"Thou shalt not commit adultery." -Exodus 20:14, one of the Ten Commandments!

If a man commits adultery with another man's wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death. -Leviticus 20:10

But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. -Matthew 5:28

God saw this pornography thing coming a long, long time ago, so he prepared us for it. Dear reader, are you trapped in the nightmarish maze of Pornography? Jesus will free you, this is why he went to suffer on the cross. Say the sinner's prayer, it's easy. Just say "Lord Jesus, I admit I'm a sinner, I believe you died on the cross for my sins. I invite you into my heart, I accept you as my lord and savior." If you prayed that simple prayer, you were born again. Cast the pornography aside, get yourself an NKJV bible, and keep god first place in your life.

Homosexuality... A Tangled Web

"It's okay, sweetie!" this is the battle cry of the homosexual militant. Rejected by women, they long for something, anything, to make their horribly strong lusts go away. They don't know who they drag into their dark world with them, and many of them don't care. It's really hard to convince these people that what they do is wrong, since they don't see anything wrong. They have a hard time seeing it. If you are one of these people. Please read this, and see for yourself...

Non-Religious Facts about Homosexuality...

• Gays are more likely to catch a myriade of horrific diseases. One of which being Gay Bowel Syndrome, and worse yet, AIDS. In 2004, 55.1% of gay men in Shoreland, Chicago's "gay center" have contracted at least one STD.
  
• A study shows that homosexual men are 15&% more likely to beat their partners, lesbian women are 11% likely. Married women only showed a 0.26% likelyhood, and married men a 0.05%. A Canadian Government study shows that violence among homosexual couples is twice as common as among heterosexual couples.
  
• 61% of Chicago's Shoreland Homosexuals have had at least 30 partners... THIRTY!!!

Homosexual reader (if you're not a homosexual, my apologies) this may not be you now, but this is a question of "When" and not "if." These figures don't lie, you're a ticking time bomb. You may not know it, but somewhere down the road, you're going to go off. This is the very reason why God said homosexuality is wrong (Leviticus 18:22) He destroyed two whole cities because of this.

In 1924, Dr. M.G Kyle discovered the ruins of a fortified enclosure near the dead sea, dating between 2500bc and 2000bc. It had been densely populated, evidence suggested that the population ceased abruptly. He also pointed out that under Mt. Usdom, there was a salt stratum 150 feet thick, above it was another stratum mingled with free sulpher. Gasses exploded and it literally rained fire on sodom. This info comes from the book "Explorations at Sodom" by the same archaeologist.

What does this have to do with homosexuality? That was Sodom and Gommorah... proof that it existed. Homosexual Militants attack the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. They try to twist it, they want to distort it. Genesis 19:4-5 gives us a little taste of their depravity...

"Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom, both young and old, surrounded the house. They called to lot saying "Where are the men who came with you tonight? Bring them out so that we might know them (carnally)" Lot went out to them through the doorway, shut the door behind him and said "Please, my bretheren, do not do so wickedly! See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man: please, let me bring them out to you and you may do to them as you wish: only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof." and they said "stand back!" Then they said "this one came in to stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge, now we will deal worse with you than with them." so they pressed hard against the man lot, and came near to break down the door."

Homosexuality drove them absolutely insane. God couldn't let these people go on living another second, lest they do this to other kingdoms. So he burned it off the map, leaving only ruins and ashes.

You are not beyond saving from this. John 3:16 says "For god so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that he who believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." furthermore, 2 Peter 3:9 says "The lord is not slack concerning his promise... not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance."

"But Matt, you don't get it. I was born this way, I got gay thoughts!" I refer you to Ephesians 6:12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Heck, even I have homoerotic thoughts and dreams. In a way, I feel you. Your mind, your body, and your soul are all fronts on the war in yourself. Will it be won? Yes. Must it be won? Yes.

The Apocolypse

Good reader, we live in strange times. Terrorism, pollution, persecution of Christians, moral decay, all of these things point to the end of times. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) Jesus warned us about these perilous times, and at any moment, the final days will be on us... but I'm itching for that day!

There is a very good reason I am looking forward to the "Apocolypse." Popular Culture makes Armageddon look like a dreadful time for everyone...

What they won't tell you is that there is a good side of the apocolypse! Before the world ends, Jesus will return to take away the born again Christians who believe in him.

"For the lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of god, and the dead in christ shall rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the lord in the air, and so we will be with the lord forever." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

This is the good news for those that accepted Christ... now for the bad news for those that don't...

There will be horrors at the end times, but Jesus doesn't want some people to be caught in the thick of it. The horrors being listed here, but I'd imagine they are by no means limited to these...

• Every building will be completely wiped out. (Mark 13:2)
• There will be wars (Matthew 24:7)
• Earthquakes, (Revelations 11:13) Famines, Plagues (Revelations 9:18, Luke 21:11)
• Humanity will become so horrible, they will make today's humanity look like boy scouts (Matthew 24:9, Mark 13:12,)
• People will wish they were never born. (Luke 21:23-24)
• It will be the worst suffering humanity will ever experience. (Matthew 24:21)
• The Four Horsemen will come (Revelations 6)
• A meteor will hit the earth. Revelations 8:5 says "Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, and an earthquake." I figure that means a meteor... of course I could be refering to Revelations 8:10 where stars fall from the sky.
• Forest Fires (Revelations 8:7)
• Sea will become blood (Revelations 8:8)
• The sun will be blotted out. (Revelations 9:2) with this comes the locusts. (revelations 9:7-11)
• Plagues will kill off a third of mankind (9:18)

This is, I imagine, a short list. Another thing that happens in the Apocolypse is the rise of a fellow named the antichrist. He'll say he's god, and he'll build his own imagine in the temple. This guy will work wonders identical to Jesus, and the people will love him (Revelations 13:8) He will be really successful for a time (Daniel 11:36) and he will blaspheme against the god of israel (a.k.a the Father in Heaven.)

He'll make people take the mark of the beast, which is described in Revelations 13:16-18 "He causes all people, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to recieve a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666." This mark might be anything, paint, a tatoo, or a microchip. This mark, tempting as it is, will doom humanity forever. "If any man worship the beast or his image, and recieve the mark in his hand or forehead, he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels." Revelations 14:9-10

When Armageddon comes, Satan and his patsy, the Beast will come to Megiddo (a real town in Israel) to fight God and Jesus. Satan, from where I'm sitting, apparently has been hit in the head too many times and thinks he has a chance (Luke 10:18 "and he said to them 'I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.'") Revelations 19:19-20 says that not only does Satan lose, but he and the beast are taken alive and put away for a thousand years.

After the thousand years comes the great white throne of judgement. Where those that died without Christ are judged. Everything is reviewed, and those that aren't in the book of life are thrown in the lake of fire. (Revelations 20:1-3) then Satan, and the beast, are shoved in there for good (revelations 20:10) and we'll never have to deal with that dirtbag ever again.

Good reader, I ask you... what part of Armageddon will *you* be a part of? Will you be taken with God, or will you burn in the lake of fire? The choice should be pretty obvious. Accept Jesus Christ as your savior, become born again, preach his word, and you'll be set.

The Mechanics of Sin

To avoid sin is a matter of learning how it works. I may not have a theology major, but the bible gives me a good idea on how sin works. There's a lot more than the ten commandments...

Things about sin you need to know...

• Teaching others to sin us just as bad. "But if anyone causes these little ones to sin, it would be better if a milestone were tied around their neck and they were thrown into the ocean." Matthew 18:6
  
• Fantasizing about doing these things is wrong too, evidently. "But I say to you whoever looks at another woman lustfully has already commited adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:28. This can be pretty hard to do. Believe me, if I had a nickle for everytime I've fantasized about beating Richard Dawkins with a tire iron, or gunning somebody down for a minor slight, I'd make Bill Gates look like a hobo!
• There's no loopholes. You don't need a bible to tell you that much. "Oh, well I can steal from that crippled old lady and just beg Christ for forgiveness later." That don't work! Jesus may be a lot of things, but he's not a robot! (although that would be kinda cool...)
• Animals can't sin. They don't do anything wrong. Everything they do is natural. Humans, however, are in way over their heads.
• Sins will not only condemn you in the Afterlife, but here and now as well. The Old Testament is full of examples.

Below is a list of well known, seemingly "harmless" sins. Note that "Harmless" is in quotations... because they are not harmless! They all have some hideous strings attached which I will cover at later dates...

• Homosexuality
• Bisexuality
• Drugs/Smoking/Drinking
• Fornication
• Beastiality
• Witchcraft
• Satanism
• Occult
• Worshipping other gods
• Swearing (Possibly the hardest to give up)

These things here are not sins in any way. In fact, some of these are mandatory.

• Child Discipline through force. (Deuteronomy 21:18-21) When I was young, I got beaten stupid on a regular basis. Thank God for that. If I didn't get smacked around every now and then, I'd be a worthless, racist, anti-semitic, potty-mouthed, meth-baked warlock who likes little boys.
  
• "Snitching." You've heard of the "Stop Snitchin'" campaign, right? Let me tell you of "Collective Responsibility." If you see someone commit a crime, and you keep your mouth shut, you're going to Hell with them. Romans 1:32 "Who knowing the judgement of god, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in those who do them." So you have two choices: Come clean and risk a single death, or keep silent and risk two deaths.
• Preaching the word of God. This is obviously mandatory. It says up there in my blog description "Go ye into all the world and preach my gospel to every creature" -Mark 16:15. See, this is why I started this blog. So I can spread the word of god to everybody. Just having a Christian blog doesn't end it, though. Nope. It goes much farther than that. You have to preach the word on the streets too. You have to preach it everywhere.

These three lists stretch quite a ways. More information can be found in the NKJV of the Bible. It's not easy to stop the sins, but not outright impossible. Good luck.

Hell: abode of the unbelievers...

Below us, in the depths of the earth, there is a place of eternal pain and suffering. It is the abode of our eternal enemy, Lucifer. If you enter this place, he will become your master of eternal. There is no escape, there is no rest, there is no hope.

Here's a list of facts about hell...

• There is a barrier between Hell and Heaven (Luke 16:24) that nobody can cross. (Hence why I said "there is no escape" earlier.)
  
• There is wailing and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:50)
• The torment will never end. Ever. (Revelations 14:11)

Ready for the scary part? You're on your way there right now! yes, you heard me correctly. You, unsaved reader, are on your way there right now.

There's only one guy who can save you from Hell. Jesus Christ. He came to earth to bridge the gap between man and god. In John 14:6, Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life. No-one comes to the father except by me." Why do we need him? Romans 3:10 says "There is not one righteous. No, not one." The second you knew right from wrong, every wrong choice you made since then has been a sin you have commited. "For all have sinned, and all come short of the glory of god." (Romans 2:32) Heck, you should've seen the stuff I did! I was even into satanism at one point! But John 3:16 says "God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him shall never die, but have everlasting life." In other words, if you believe that Jesus died for your sins, accept him as your savior, become born again, and live a straight christian life, you'll steer clear of Hell.

A word of warning... you'll never see your death coming, and if you die without Jesus, you'll spend eternity in hell forever... and it won't be a party either. Choose wisely... Christ or Hell.

Meet the boss!

My boss was born 2,000 years ago in a manger in Bethlehem, born to a peasant lady and a carpenter. He didn't have much growing up... just a robe and a pair of sandals. He taught new, mind blowing ideas to the people, and worked miracles right in front of them. He didn't hold a grudge, but this didn't mean he wasn't shy about breaking the occasional table.

Even with all of this, popular opinion turned against him. Many of his friends ran away, one denied him, and one betrayed him. They arrested him in the night, mocked him in the temple, beat him, and nailed him to a cross between two thieves.

As they drove the nails through him, he called out to the sky, saying "Father forgive them, they know not what they do." (luke 23:34) When he was dead, they took him down and laid him in a tomb...

But something happened! Three days later, my boss arose from the grave, having defeated death, and ascended bodily into heaven before his disciples' eyes. But before he went, he told them he was coming back to give them eternal life in the kingdom of his father.

My boss, if you haven't figured it out already, is Jesus Christ, the son of God. Until a year or two ago, I never knew about him. I always thought he was just "the reason for Christmas and Easter." But later, I would learn he as not only those two, but my only hope of getting into heaven. He said it himself "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except by me." (john 14:6)

He doesn't pay me in money, or women, or cars, or anything like that. Once he's in your mind, he opens your eyes and your mind to everything. You'll achieve heights of moral purity and inner peace, and fear will be nothing but a distant memory.
