Here's a list of facts about hell...
- There is a barrier between Hell and Heaven (Luke 16:24) that nobody can cross. (Hence why I said "there is no escape" earlier.)
- There is wailing and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:50)
- The torment will never end. Ever. (Revelations 14:11)
- No matter how much you beg, no matter how much you cry, no matter how much you scream, they never let you out. (Luke 16:24)
- It just keeps burning. (Isaiah 33:14)
- There is no light. You can never see what is going to hurt you, much less protect yourself from it. (Matthew 25:30)
- A place of sorrows (Psalms 18:5)
Ready for the scary part? You're on your way there right now! yes, you heard me correctly. You, unsaved reader, are on your way there right now.
There's only one guy who can save you from Hell. Jesus Christ. He came to earth to bridge the gap between man and god. In John 14:6, Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life. No-one comes to the father except by me." Why do we need him? Romans 3:10 says "There is not one righteous. No, not one." The second you knew right from wrong, every wrong choice you made since then has been a sin you have commited. "For all have sinned, and all come short of the glory of god." (Romans 2:32) Heck, you should've seen the stuff I did! I was even into satanism at one point! But John 3:16 says "God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him shall never die, but have everlasting life." In other words, if you believe that Jesus died for your sins, accept him as your savior, become born again, and live a straight christian life, you'll steer clear of Hell.
A word of warning... you'll never see your death coming, and if you die without Jesus, you'll spend eternity in hell forever... and it won't be a party either. Choose wisely... Christ or Hell.
